WebInspect.pro is an independent website security inspection platform designed to make common security, configuration, and compliance-related issues easier to identify and understand. Our goal is simple: provide website owners, administrators, developers, and IT professionals with practical security information without requiring specialist security tools or extensive technical knowledge.
WebInspect performs an external, unauthenticated inspection of publicly accessible website and domain information.
Our inspections evaluate a range of security and configuration areas, including SSL/TLS configuration, HTTP security headers, DNS and email security, exposed information, browser security controls, redirects, cookies, and other externally observable security indicators.
Inspection results are presented with explanations and practical recommendations so that identified issues can be understood and addressed.
Depending on the selected service, WebInspect can provide anything from an automated security snapshot to detailed technical findings, guided remediation recommendations, and a professional Expert Review.
Automated security tools are useful for identifying potential issues, but automated results do not always tell the complete story.
WebInspect's Expert Review service adds a human layer to the inspection process.
Expert Reviews are performed using a standardized WebInspect methodology by WebInspect or an approved member of our Expert Review Partner network. Findings can be reviewed, manually verified where appropriate, prioritized, and supplemented with professional observations and recommendations.
WebInspect may identify findings relevant to established security frameworks and requirements, including PCI DSS and OWASP guidance.
These indicators are intended to help organizations understand areas that may contribute to their security and compliance posture.
WebInspect does not provide compliance certification, PCI ASV scans, penetration testing, or formal compliance assessments. A WebInspect inspection should therefore be considered a security and compliance-readiness resource rather than evidence of certification or compliance.

Approved Partners work within the standardized WebInspect Expert Review methodology while adding their own professional experience and security expertise.
